In the winter of 2010 with the help of the National Trust we undertook a project to harvest a single ash tree from Wenlock Edge and convert it into as many everyday items as possible.

24 people took part, from hobby woodcarvers to joiners and furniture makers, producing over 200 individual items. The results went on show during the 2011 Michaelmas Fair in Bishop's Castle and attracted an unprecedented level of interest.
